Rozwiązania mobilne wydają się obecnie jednym z najszybciej rozwijających się sektorów technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych. Nie dziwi zatem, że w ostatnim czasie wzbudzają zainteresowanie praktyków i teoretyków badających różne płaszczyznach życia człowieka. Wskazana tendencja dotyczy także bibliotek, jednakże wdrożenie w bibliotekach tego typu rozwiązań nie jest zadaniem prostym. Ciekawym aspektem badawczym wydaje się więc, czy dla biblioteki takie rozwiązanie jest w ogóle potrzebne? A jeśli tak, to w jak szerokim zakresie powinno umożliwiać dostęp do jej serwisów informacyjnych? O tego typu informacje najlepiej zapytać oczywiście samych użytkowników, co ilustruje niniejszy artykuł.

Nowadays mobile solutions seem to be one of the fastest growing sectors of information and communication technologies. It is therefore not surprising that mobile solutions technology is the source of inspiration for practitioners and theorists studying the various levels of human life. This trend also applies to the libraries, but implementation of mobile solutions in the libraries is not a simple task. An interesting aspect of research appears to determine whether libraries need such a solution at all. And if so, how broad access should be provided to the information services. Getting this type of information it would be best to ask the users themselves.
