Przedstawiono trzy obecne we współczesnej pedagogice teoretyczne podejścia do nierówności edukacyjnych: konserwatywną, liberalną i krytyczną teorię edukacji. Projekt społeczny i edukacyjny, reprezentowany przez konserwatywną i liberalną teorię edukacji, został skonfrontowany z narracją, której egzemplifikacją jest pedagogika krytyczna. Poddano analizie edukacyjny potencjał oraz ograniczenia konserwatywnego, liberalnego i krytycznego dyskursu. Ukazano konsekwencje dominacji dyskursu konserwatywno-liberalnego w Polsce po 1989 r. dla systemu oświaty.

Three theoretical approaches to unequality of education in contemporary pedagogy: conservative, liberal and critical theory is presented. The social and educational project, represented by conservative and liberal theory, is confronted with narrative, exemplification of which is Critical Pedagogy. The educational potential and limits of conservative, liberal and critical discourse is analysed. The consequences of domination of conservative-liberal discourse for the system of education in Poland after 1989 year have been presented.
