Niniejszy artykuł zawiera opis nowatorskiej metody nauki gry na skrzypcach autorstwa dr. Shinichi Suzuki. Zdolności muzyczne nie są wrodzone, lecz można je rozwijać. Prawidłowo kształcone dziecko ma możliwość rozwoju zdolności muzycznych, podobnie jak rozwija swoją zdolność mówienia w języku ojczystym. Pryncypia metody: – każde dziecko może być uczone; – nauka zaczyna się w dniu narodzin; – intuicja jest bardzo ważną podstawą edukacji talentu (minimum słów); – nigdy nie zmuszamy dziecka do ćwiczenia; – talent ludzki buduje się przez ćwiczenie i powtarzanie.

The article describes the innovative way of violin teaching – the Mother Tongue Method invented by dr Suzuki. Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability that can be developed. Every child who is properly trained can develop musical ability just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. Principles: – every child can be taught; – learning starts on the day the child was born; – intuition is a very important basis for talent education; – never force the child to practice – human talent is developed by means of practice and repetition.
