Głównym przedmiotem rozważań jest kwestia statusu dydaktyki ogólnej jako dyscypliny naukowej w sytuacji zmiany paradygmatycznej polegającej na przejściu od dydaktyki pozytywistycznej do dydaktyki interpretatywnej (hermeneutycznej). Przedstawione są dwie linie badań dydaktycznych: filozoficzno-humanistyczna i nurt badań eksperymentalnych. Analizowany jest normatywny/opisowy (analityczny) oraz teoretyczny/praktyczny charakter dydaktyki. Ukazane są konsekwencje przyjęcia przez dydaktykę stanowiska obiektywistycznego (dydaktyka behawiorystyczna) i konstruktywistycznego (dydaktyka konstruktywistyczna).

The main subject of deliberations is an issue of the status of general didactics as the scientific discipline in the situation of the paradigmatic change consisting on the transition from the positivist didactics to the interpretative (hermeneutic) didactics. Two lines of didactic research are presented: philosophical-humanistic and line of experimental explorations. The normative/descriptive (analytical) and theoretical/practical character of didactics is analysed. Consequences of accepting by didactics the objectivist position (behaviouristic didactics) and constructivist position (constructivistic didactics) are portrayed.
