Self-regulation, learning strategies and styles of coping with stress in young adultsOne of the aspects of the human development is a transition from the externally controlled regulation to the self-regulated functioning. In learning situations, we can observe, along with the age, the increase in the level of strategies (multitude of strategies) of behavior and consequently acquiring a conscious control and regulation of one’s own activities. Strategies comprise a wide range of ways of behavior, among others, in learning situations but also in coping with stress which accompanies the processes of learning. In this context, we have undertaken our research among the students of the Physical Education University (AWF) in order to check what strategies are employed by the examined in the situation of forced motor learning based on self-regulation. Is it possible to notice any connection between strategies in learning and acquiring control over one’s own activities and the methods of coping with stress?
