NGO’s Cooperation and Self Government - Examples from Krakow (1995-2004)The text is an attempt at synthetic presentation of the actions undertaken by Krakow self government in the area of cooperation with NGO’s in the period preceding the implementation of „The public usefulness and voluntary work act” (1995–2004) in the historical aspect (the beginnings, subsequent activities, modifications of local regulations) as well as in the aspect of financial forms of this cooperation (grants) and other non financial forms (The Information Center for NGO’s, social consulting, training programs, the organization of integration events).
