The Management Instruments in the Process of Implementation of Region’s Development Strategy (on the Example of Gorlice District)The process of management of the region resembles the management of an enterprise. The similarities lay in organization model of the unit and in the fulfillment of the basic duties of management.The possibility of effective management is the awareness of the common mission that has to be fulfilled by self-government and local community. The result of cooperation should be the development strategy, which will enable the constant restructurisation in all the social and economic areas.The subject tackled in this article is the analysis of the process dealing with the implementation of development strategy of Gorlice district. The aim of it is to indicate how to practically use the management instruments known from the literature.
