Culture as Factor of Urban Regeneration, a Network of the EU Programme UrbactThe article is a short description of the first achievements of one of URBACT Thematic Networks. The purpose of the network is to demonstrate that an integrated and culture oriented approach to urban regeneration, comprising social, economic and physical aspects is the only guarranty of a successful regeneration process. Resposibles on different levels have to look for creating a new image in which the quality of life results from the rich cultural offer, linked to the quality of urban space.
