Areas of Outsourcing in HospitalsFinancial restraints in contracting medical services worsen the current hospital situation. For this reason it is important to look for the effective ways of managing financial resources. One of the ways is outsourcing that is the delegation of tasks or jobs not inherent to the core activity of the hospital to an external entity.The paper describes the advantages and disadvantages of this restructuring method in selected areas of non-medical activities such as cleaning, laundry, transport, nutrition, diagnostics, technical maintenance, computer services, repairs and constructions, security services, groundskeeping and sterilization.
