The paper presents the issue of revitalization models – starting from state policy, regional policies as well as local revitalization programs. Systems theory and graphic charts were used to draw up revitalization models. It helped to show desired structural-procedural model of revitalization. On that basis two conclusions were formulated: existing model of revitalization has many negative aspects and its change is necessary.
