Abstrakt: Narodziny demokracji w Grecji klasycznej w czasach reform Klejstenesa i Peryklesa Autor artykułu koncentruje się na fundamentalnym problemie, z jakim historycy idei zmagają się od przynajmniej stu lat - tzn. jakie przyczyny sprawiły, że w Grecji, a konkretnie w Atenach, narodziła się demokracja. Oczywiście autor nie ma ambicji odpowiedzieć wyczerpująco na tak sformułowane pytanie. Jest to tylko wprowadzenie do dyskusji. Skromna próba zmierzenia się z problemem, którym filozofowie polityki interesują się od ponad dwóch tysiącleci. Słowa klucze: polityka, demokracja, polis, Perykles, Klejstenes.   Abstract: The birth of democracy in classical Greece in the days of the reforms of Klejstenes and Pericles Author of this article concentrates on fundamental problem, the historians have been trying to cope with for many years. That means: what caused that democracy had been born in Greece, specifically in Athens. Of course the author has no ambitions to answer exhaustively all these questions. This is only introduction to discussion. The humble attempt to face the problem, the philosophy has been facing for over 2500 years.Key words: politics, democracy, polis, Perykles, Klejstenes.
