Celem niniejszego tekstu jest określenie, jaki wizerunek może być komunikowany przez historyka w jego filmach, zamieszczonych na kanale w serwisie YouTube. Ponadto podejmie się próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy cechy dyskursu popularnonaukowego wideobloga wpływają na konstruowany przez odbiorcę wizerunek youtubera. Badania przeprowadzono z udziałem respondentów, którzy oglądali film, a następnie określali wizerunek historyka. Wyniki pozwalają zauważyć, że wizerunek wlogera składa się głównie z cech opartych na komunikatywności, ekspresyjności, wiedzy, humorze, pasji i zaangażowaniu oraz pewności siebie. Choć dyskurs ułatwia komunikowanie niektórych cech wizerunkowych, to proporcje tych cech w wizerunku są różne w zależności od wlogera.

The purpose of this paper is to determine what kind of image could be communicated by a historian in his/her films, shared on their YouTube channel. Moreover, there is a question whether the features of a popular science video blog influence the image of a vlogger, which is constructed by a recipient. Research was conducted among respondents who watched a film and then described the image of the historian. The results indicate that the image of a vlogger consists mainly of features based on communication skills, expressiveness, knowledge, sense of humor, passion and involvement, as well as self-confidence. Although the discourse facilitates communication of some image qualities, their proportions are different, depending on a particular vlogger.
