Social taboo in the context of educational activities – what do we (not) teach in the framework of the sociology of the family?

Article focuses on invisible, marginalized areas in the teaching of sociology of the family or the sociology of education. It is mainly about content related to sexuality, domestic violence, infertility, adoption etc. The author poses the question of what causes these topics are not discussed in the educational process. The author also points out that although these contents are the subject of sociological research, and there is no doubt as to the importance of cognitive, however, rarely enter these issues within the scope of the course of the sociology of the family.

Artykuł koncentruje się na niewidocznych, marginalizowanych w nauczaniu socjologii rodziny bądź socjologii edukacji obszarach tabu związanego z seksualnością, przemocą w rodzinie, bezpłodnością, adopcją itd. Autorka stawia pytanie o to, co powoduje tabuizację wybranych treści w procesie kształcenia pedagogów. Wskazuje także, że choć treści te stanowią przedmiot badań socjologicznych i nie ma wątpliwości co do ich znaczenia poznawczego, to jednak rzadko te zagadnienia wchodzą w zakres kursów z socjologii rodziny.
