W niniejszym artykule zaprezentuję sekularyzację jako społeczny kontekst religijności, a następnie opiszę nowe trendy w przemianach religijności, od religijności kościelnej do religijności pozakościelnej i zindywidualizowanej. W ponowoczesnym świecie, w warunkach postępującej sekularyzacji, religijność przybiera rozmaite postaci, przejawia się także w różnych formach duchowości, luźno związanych z religią lub nawet od niej niezależnych. Religijność często staje się „produktem” jednostki, nabiera charakteru procesualnego projektu, nigdy dokończonego, o wymiarach jakby rozproszonych, pomieszanych czy synkretycznych. Ludzie w sprawach religijnych czują się „zmuszeni” do wybierania (tzw. heretycki imperatyw), nie zaś do bezdyskusyjnego przyjmowania obowiązującego modelu religijności

The article discusses, in the first place, secularization as a social context of religiosity, and next, the new trends in the transformation of religiosity, namely: religiosity from inside to outside the Church, and individualized religiosity. In the postmodern world, in conditions of growing secularization, religion takes different shapes and manifests itself in various forms of spirituality, loosely connected with religion or even independent of established religion. Religiosity often becomes a “product” of a personal choice, and acquires the character of processual project, somehow never finished, taking diffuse, mixed or syncretic dimensions. People in religious matters feel “forced” to make choices (so called heretical imperative), and not just to accept without question, the current model of religiosity.
