W artykule zaprezentowano w syntetycznym ujęciu tematy śmierci i umierania w twórczości izraelskiego dramatopisarza Hanocha Levina, którego utwory koncentrują się na nich w mniejszym lub większym stopniu. Przedstawiono źródła obsesyjnego skupienia autora na tej tematyce (w tym śmierć ojca i osobiste doświadczenie wojny), jak i wybrane przykłady jej realizacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem dramatu Requiem.

The article presents the topics of death and dying in the works of the Israeli playwright Hanoch Levin, which are focused on them more or less. The text presents sources of the author's obsessive focus on this subject (including the death of his father and personal experience of war), as well as selected examples of its implementation, with particular emphasis on the drama Requiem.
