The study includes the analyses of figures of antropomorphisation which is a vitalization of various objects of naturę and attribution of human features to these objects. This poetic practice derives from ancient Greek and Roman poetry. It has started to entrench in Po- land sińce Jan Kochanowski’s times. The review of texts of over seventy poets writing about the Polish Tatra confirmed the vitality of this figurę until present times both in for- mal (apostrophe formule among others) and semantic (natural objects are endowed with human body parts and behave similarly to humans) rangę. Antropomorphisation is also related to original folk songs. It constitutes one of the fundamental components of poetic style.
