Ewa Schreiber

• PhD student at the Department of Musicology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She studied musicology and philosophy at Adam Mickiewicz University (graduating from both in 2005) as well as one semester at Karl-Franzens -Universität in Graz. Her main academic interests are the aesthetics of music (especially the theory of tropes, such as irony and metaphor, applied to music) and contemporary music. Apart from her scholarly activity, she also collaborates with several music magazines: De Musica, Glissando and Ruch Muzyczny.
