Article discovers major causes and features of currently dominating economy which unavoidably lead this economy and whole society to global environmental and (anti)-humanitarian catastrophe. Among the major features/signs of coming catastrophe the following ones are stated/mentioned: global deforestation, biodiversity losses, soil worsening, desertification. Article substantiates necessity of transition to the humanistic economy and formulates prerequisites and major directions of such a transition.
