The author describes collective conversion giving as an example Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement in the Kadzidlo village. After presenting short history of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Poland and its recent blossom, he explains why he applies the concept of collective conversion not to the change of confession, but to the change of some aspects religiosity. The main goal of the text is to examine how participation in Renewal changes attitude towards religious life. The author has chosen some crucial elements of religious life, e.g. participation in Holy Mass, prayer and celebrating main religious holidays to show what conversion means for the people involved. Participants of the Renewal movement receive various gifts from the Holy Spirit. By discussing some of these charismatic powers (so-called glossolalia, healing, etc.) and specificity of a Holy Mass for Renewal members, the author shows the differences and similarities with 'traditional' catholicism. He also tries to present the degree of this conversion.
