The opened information space encouraged the development of scientific search, which was referred to as scientific revolution. However, the situation radically changed in 30-40s for secrecy destroying the opened information space, breaking scientific contacts and evolving the concept of 'national science', whose adepts argued that it was 'national science' that could bring competition to science and encourage its boosting in XX century. End of XX century brought a considerable weakening of secrecy, followed by re-building of the world information network, intensified international migration of scientists and other factors favorable for renewal of the opened information space in science. Positive and negative consequences of this tendency are analyzed, and adaptation specifics of scientists of the two age categories (young and elder than 45-50) are shown, with focus on negative effects of the migration of elder ones. Negative effects of migration induce search for fuller utilization of the scientists-migrants research capabilities . This search should be based on the conception of audio-visual contacts as a means of information flows and information exchanges within a research team. It is shown that Internet technologies allow for virtual audio-visual contacts. Therefore, use of Internet technologies can be considered as a key to renewal of information communications broken as a result of migration. Theoretical research can well be done via Internet, while experimental research seems to be unfeasible. It is shown that the barrier for experimental research via Internet can be eliminated through building up an algorithm of experimental research, which will show that only the steps related with facilities installation require one's location at the experimental base, while all the other steps allow for Internet technologies. In this way virtual research units can be organized with characteristics quite similar to those in the traditionally localized research institutions.
