Methodological problems of the ecologization of modern economic systems from positions of post-industrial paradigm and comparisons of economic systems in the conditions of the strengthening of globalization were explored. The content of ecological paradigm of economic theory was elucidated and the necessity of selection of social-ecological relations in the system of economic relations of the society substantiated. Conception of steady development and features of ecological-economic instruments in the developed countries were analysed as well. The author's interpretation of the notion of the 'ecologization of economic systems' is offered.
