Foreign language classes in the form of blended learning are conducted in a lecture room and in a special environment - on an educational platform. Distance learning aims at supporting the process of language acquisition, not at superseding tradition methods. The present article focuses on the methodological aspects of creating distance language courses as well as the areas complementing traditional classes. The author points to the elements underlying the success of a didactic process, especially to the use of revision materials and their functioning in diverse areas of distance education.
