Referring to the book 'Winning' by Jack and Suzy Welch and 'The Welch Way: 24 lessons from the World's Greatest CEO' by J. A. Krames , the authors discuss Jack Welch's concept on corporate organizational structure. This General Electric CEO has for many years supported the idea of limiting a number of organizational structure levels to minimum. In his opinion the organization should correspond to the enterprise size and industry. Minimized formalization demands an atmosphere of openness - the lack of such is and Achilles' heel in today's world of business because it blocks creativity and potential of smart people hindering their activity
