Celem artykułu jest konceptualizacja strategii w świetle założeń „ponowoczesności”, w szczególności określenie zaznaczenia i roli wiedzy w procesie powstawania strategii. W treści artykułu przedstawiono niektóre z argumentów krytyki modernistycznego podejścia w nauce oraz ich konsekwencje dla nauk o zarządzaniu. Następnie, przyjmując perspektywę tradycji filozofii europejskiej, scharakteryzowano podstawowe typy wiedzy, które mają znaczenie także w zarządzaniu. W dalszej części określono efekty interakcji między typami wiedzy w procesie tworzenia strategii. Wyróżnienie typów wiedzy i charakterystyka interakcji pozwoliła m.in. wskazać na potencjalne kierunki rozwoju procesów strategii w organizacji.

The purpose of this article is conceptualization of the strategy in the light of the „after modernism”, in particular the definition of role of knowledge in the process of strategy. In the article are some of elements of critic of the modernist approach in science are presented with their implications for management sciences. On the bases of European tradition of philosophy of science types of knowledge were identified with reference to the management. In the later part, the characteristics of the interaction between the types of knowledge in the process of strategy were characterized. Distinction of types of knowledge and characteristics of their interaction helped to identify potential directions of development strategy processes in the organization.
