Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie oceny funkcjonowania ustawy antykryzysowej, która traci moc prawną na koniec 2011 r. Autorki charakteryzują nowe instrumenty prawne mające przeciwdziałać zwolnieniom pracowników w warunkach spowolnienia gospodarczego i pogarszającej się sytuacji na rynku pracy. Znaczna część opracowania jest poświęcona pokazaniu wyników badań przeprowadzonych wśród pracodawców na temat przydatności tej regulacji, wskazaniu jej wad i zalet, a także zarekomendowaniu rozwiązań, które powinny zostać na stałe wprowadzone do ustawodawstwa pracy.

The purpose of the article is to present the functioning of [Polish] anti-crisis legislation that loses it validity at the end of 2011. The Authors characterize the new legal instruments contained therein that are meant to prevent job losses resulting from the economic slowdown and the worsening situation on the employment market. A major part of the article focuses on the presentation of the results of an empirical study conducted among employers concerning the usefulness of the legislation in question noting in particular its practical shortcomings and advantages. The article outlines also a number of recommended solutions which should permanently be introduced into the [Polish] employment law field.
