In the Moravian Gallery in Brno (Czech Republic) had placed International Conference: Lost Heritage of Cultural Assets. Documentation, identification, restitution and repatriation of cultural assets of World War the Second victims (20 - 21.11.2003). It was organised by the Ministry of Culture of Czech Republic and Documentation Centre for Property Transfer of Cultural Assets of WW II Victims. During two days there were four sessions (discussion panels): 1. Methodology of the research and progression of the research work. The comparison of the research in the different countries; 2. Restitution procedures in the different countries; 3. Realisation of the international co-operation in the field of the search and the recovery of the cultural assets. The ways of the communication. The exchange of the information; 4. Procedures of the recovery, particular cases, other ways of the compensation.
