This article is the first attempt to present profiles of selected pastors from Brochów parish in Mazovia from the nineteenth to the twentieth century. The inspiration for this article was a list of parish priests, which was found by the author ‘’Chronicle of the Brochów parish 1946-1974”. The author approached the chronicle from the existing state of knowledge. Using this approach the author developed the basic material to present some pastors from Brochów parish. The author presents the pastors’ activities in the most crucial moments of parish life, for example during World War I and II. The author attempted to present a picture of the struggle for the identity of the parish community for over two centuries. Furthermore, the article presents profiles of pastors working in the parish after II World War. This is the first attempt to present this issue.
