The aim of the article is to discuss the guarantees of exercise of the constitutional right to petition in the context of the Act of 11 July 2014 on Petitions. The first part of the article presents the constitutional right of petition in the shape as introduced by the lawmaker in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland from 2 April 1997. The above considerations are aimed at demonstrating the way in which the lawmaker safeguarded the constitutional right to petition on the basis of the Act of 11 July 2014 on Petitions.
