W artykule zaprezentowano dzieje węgierskiej recepcji myśli Herbarta od zakończenia drugiej wojny światowej do chwili obecnej. Autorka rozróżnia pięć etapów, które zostały zdefiniowane w odniesieniu do wydarzeń z najnowszej historii politycznej Węgier i Europy Środkowo- Wschodniej. Datą, od której rozpoczyna się pierwszy okres, jest zakończenie drugiej wojny światowej. Początkiem drugiego jest krwawe stłumienie węgierskiego ruchu wolnościowego i powstania narodowego w 1956 roku przez armię radziecką. Trzeci okres łączy dążenie do obiektywnej prezentacji myśli Herbarta z ostatnią dekadą panowania socjalizmu w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. Czwartym dominującym wydarzeniem jest zmiana systemowa, jaka dokonała się w 1989 roku. Piąty okres datowany jest od Pierwszej Ogólnowęgierskiej Konferencji Nauki o Wychowaniu, która obradowała w 2001 roku i otworzyła nowy rozdział w analizie postawionego problemu.

The article presents the history of Hungarian Herbart’s pedagogy reception from the end of World War II to the present. The author distinguishes five stages that were defined in relation to the events of recent political history of Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe. The first period begins from the end of World War II. The beginning of the second one is the bloody suppression of the Hungarian freedom movement and the national uprising by the Soviet army in 1956. The third period combines the pursuit of an objective presentation of Herbart’s thought with the last decade of the reign of socialism in Central and Eastern Europe. The fourth one is dominated by the political change that occurred in 1989. The fifth period starts from The First All-Hungary Conference on Science Education which was held in 2001 and opened a new chapter in the analysis of the problem.
