Potrzeba dyskursu nad rolą strategii w realizacji polityki społecznej jest szczególnie odczuwana w sytuacji, gdy otwiera się nowa perspektywa finansowania, a założenia zalecanego w Unii podejścia podkreślają znaczenie aktywnej integracji i inwestycji społecznych. Rozwiązania polityki aktywizacji powinny zatem znaleźć swoje miejsce zarówno w przyjmowanych programach planowania strategicznego, jak i w procesie jego opracowania i wdrażania. Analiza dokumentów przygotowanych na nowy okres jest szansą na wskazanie ich ewentualnych słabości i umożliwienie wprowadzenia niezbędnych korekt. Poprawnie przygotowana strategia będzie nie tylko sprzyjać efektywnej implementacji przyjętych programów rozwoju i polityki społecznej, ale przygotuje solidne podstawy do rozwoju społeczności lokalnych.

The need for a discourse about the role of the social policy realization strategy is especially perceptible in the situation when a new financing opportunity appears, and assumptions recommended by the European Union highlight the importance of active integration and social investments. The solutions for the activation policy should find their place both in the strategic planning programmes, and in the process of development and implementation. The analysis of the documents prepared for the new period creates an opportunity to point out their conceivable flaws and enable the necessary corrections. Not only will the correctly prepared strategy favour the effective implementation of adopted development programmes and social policy, but also prepare the solid basis for the development of local communities.
