Celem opracowania jest zaprezentowanie procesu wdrożenia w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym branży poligraficznej metody szybkiego przezbrajania maszyn (SMED). Zdecydowano się na wybór tej metody, ponieważ w przeprowadzonej analizie strat uznano, że największe marnotrawstwo wynika z tytułu czasów przezbrojeń maszyn. Artykuł ma charakter studium przypadku i prezentuje pokrótce teoretyczne aspekty związane z wybranym rozwiązaniem oraz jego praktyczną implementację w warunkach analizowanego przedsiębiorstwa. Opisano kolejne poziomy podejmowanych działań, a także przedstawiono uzyskane na etapie wdrażania metody SMED rezultaty w zakresie wzrostu efektywności i opłacalności produkcji. Było to możliwe dzięki starannie przygotowanemu programowi realizacji wdrożenia, a także dokładnie wykonanej analizie czynności przezbrojenia. W podsumowaniu zawarto uwagi dotyczące praktycznych działań i korzyści związanych z implementacją wybranej metody.

The aim of this paper is to present the implementation process at the production printing industry for a fast set-up of machines (SMED). It was decided to choose this method because of losses in the analysis, it was found that the biggest waste of time from the title of machine changeovers. Article is a case study and briefly presents the theoretical aspects of the chosen solution and its practical implementation in terms of the analyzed company. Describes the levels of actions taken, and presents obtained at the stage of implementation of the SMED method results in terms of increased efficiency and profitability. This was possible thanks to the carefully drawn up for the implementation of the program implementation, as well as carefully performed analysis retooling operations. In summary contains comments on practical activities and benefits associated with the implementation of the method chosen.
