EN
The phenomenon of over-indebtedness presents one of the aspects featuring contemporary microfinance. The objective of the paper is to define and classify factors influencing the environment responsible for the emergence of over-indebtedness phenomenon and illustrating practices underlying microfinance entities functioning, with particular emphasis on these attributable to a microfinance intermediary. The realization of such a designated task is based on: characterizing the essence of over-indebtedness phenomenon, classifying and describing its selected determinants and presenting final conclusions referring to problems discussed in the hereby study.
