The contribution is based on the analysis of the web pages of the fourteen villages in the Little Carpathian region (situated to the south-west from the Little Carpathian Mountains). The aim of the analysis is to determine the elements of the traditional way of living appearing in the self-image of the villages presented on the internet. The author follows the elements on the two time axis: (1) references to the manifestations of traditional culture in the past; (2) simultaneous tracing of the elements continuously/discontinuously following previous forms of traditional culture as well as new elements connected to the traditional culture. He uses the example of the 'husacie hody' (goose - feast i.e.cooking and sale of the goose specialties as a branch of gastronomy business and agro tourism business) in the village of Slovenský Grob. The goose feast presents an example of the traditional elements deliberately used in a different function and connected with the innovative elements.
