The article deals with the issue of tourism in town and it is made on the ground of the results of questionnaire done by the town of Zvolen. The Department of Strategy, Marketing and Development of Municipal Office in Zvolen prepared the questionnaire designed for the residents. The aim of the questionnaire is to analyze contemporary character of tourism and to define the approach of town inhabitants on tourism in Zvolen region.
