Artykuł Wyjaśnianie praw przyrodniczych i teorii naukowych na łamach czasopisma dla dzieci odwołuje się do wiedzy, która wpisana jest w językowo-kulturowy kanon komunikacyjny Polaka (Europejczyka). Podstawą analizy są teksty wyekscerpowane z czasopisma „Kumpel” adresowanego do dzieci między 6. a 10. rokiem życia. Teksty te dotyczą takich kwestii, jak: Układ Słoneczny, teoria heliocentryczna, ruch Ziemi dookoła Słońca, zmienność i klasyfikacja pór roku oraz następstwo dnia i nocy w obrębie doby. Sporadycznie implikują opisy poświęcone innym kulturom, ich wierzeniom czy sposobom mierzenia czasu. W konkluzji pojawia się stwierdzenie, że dziecko z wydatną pomocą dorosłego przewodnika poznaje odkrycia naukowe dotyczące wybranych praw natury.

 The paper entitled Explanation for the laws of nature and scientific theories in the magazines for children „Kumpel” relates to the knowledge, which becomes part of a Pole’s (European’s) linguistic and cultural canon of communication. The texts that constituted the basis for the analysis had been excerpted from the magazine entitled Kumpel and addressed to children between six and ten years old. The texts relate to the following issues: the Solar System, the heliocentric theory, the movement of Earth around the Sun, changeability and classification of seasons and sequence of day and night within twenty-four-hours-a-day. Occasionally they implement descriptions about other cultures, their beliefs and means of measuring the time. In the conclusion, it is stated that a child with a considerable support of the adult leader learns about the scientific discoveries related to the selected laws of nature.
