Takie podejście do kształcenia i samokształcenia powoduje zmiany w relacjach międzyludzkich. W niniejszym artykule podjęta została próba opisu i wyjaśnienia jednego z coraz bardziej widocznych zjawisk w obszarze kształcenia akademickiego, jakim jest zanikania wspólnoty studenckiej. Podjęta dyskusja stanowi tym samym tło do planowanych badań i dalszych eksploracji badawczych.

This approach to education also causes changes in interpersonal relations. Effective image building is a very important skill. We create our personal brand in private and business situations using various tools. In the era of general Internet access, social networks play a very important role in the image creation process. The Internet is a space that has great potential, but it carries many threats and dangers, and ignorance in this area is not an excuse. The article deals with the issues related to the modern labour market, recruitment process, jobs candidate images and online screening process. The author briefly characterises the mistakes that job candidates make in creating their image (especially in the media). In addition, the paper raises the issue of image, its attributes and significance, with particular emphasis on the recruitment process.

Efektywne budowanie wizerunku jest bardzo ważną umiejętnością. Kreujemy swoją markę osobistą zarówno prywatnie, jak i służbowo. Stosujemy do tego różne narzędzia. W dobie ogólnego dostępu do Internetu, w procesie kreowania wizerunku bardzo istotną rolę pełnią portale społecznościowe. Internet to przestrzeń, która ma bardzo duży potencjał, lecz niesie za sobą wiele zagrożeń i niebezpieczeństw, a niewiedza w tym zakresie nie jest wytłumaczeniem. W artykule poruszone zostały zagadnienia związane ze współczesnym rynkiem pracy, poszukiwaniem kandydatów do pracy oraz zdobywaniem przez rekruterów informacji na ich temat. In the twentieth century, changes in the population number of microstates were very diversified. It is possible, however, to observe similarities in population changes. On the basis of the following two criteria a typology of population changes was developed, i.e. the population growth rate and the variability coefficient of the population growth rate. Five types of population changes wei'e singled out: from countries with a very smali population growth and a smali variability coefficient to those characterised by very large values of both of the discussed criteria.

Impact of the student’s household budget on the selection of a given major at post-graduate studies

The aim of this paper is to present the results of the empirical research conducted among students of post-graduate programmes offered in English at the Wrocław University of Economics. The questionnaire survey was to answer the research questions about whether the price of post-graduate studies has any impact on the student’s household budget and if so, how high the impact is, and what impact the fee paid for the post-graduate studies has on the selection of a given major. At the same time, it was attempted to determine whether there is any financial added value (e.g. in the form of a pay rise) after completing post-graduate studies and if so, what impact it has on the student’s selection of a major. When endeavouring to answer the questions asked, literature studies in the area of budget were carried out and a questionnaire survey, supported with an interview with post-graduate students, was conducted.

The issues related to volunteering and its benefits are the subject of different fields of study such as pedagogy, psychology, social studies and economy. The variety of volunteering forms indicates the diversity of reception groups, but also the growing awareness of the society and the willingness of different social groups to involve themselves in activities for the needy. Volunteering is undoubtedly a form of non-formal education which contributes to the development of civic society based on knowledge. Employee volunteering as one of the forms of voluntary activity has only started to develop in Poland, however, the growing interest in it of employers and employees can already be observed. As it responds to the needs of staff, it can become an important element of human resources management in the working environment. The abovementioned issues are addressed in this article.

Problematyka dotycząca wolontariatu i korzyści z niego wynikających jest przedmiotem rozważań różnych dziedzin nauki, między innymi pedagogiki, psychologii, socjologii i ekonomii. Różnorodność form aktywności wolontariackiej świadczy o zróżnicowaniu grup odbiorczych, ale także o rosnącej świadomości społeczeństwa oraz chęci angażowania się różnych grup społecznych w działania na rzecz potrzebujących. Wolontariat jest niewątpliwie formą edukacji pozaformalnej, która przyczynia się do budowania społeczeństwa opartego na wiedzy. Wolontariat pracowniczy jako jedna z form aktywności wolontariackiej dopiero rozwija się na gruncie polskim, jednakże cieszy się coraz większym zainteresowaniem wśród pracodawców i pracowników. Odpowiada na potrzeby personelu, przez co może stać się istotnym elementem zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi w środowisku pracy. Tej właśnie tematyce poświęcony jest niniejszy artykuł.
