The paper analyses the functions of the affix си in reflexive verbs in Bulgarian. It emphasises the variety in the pronominal and other types of usage of the particle. The author offers a systematised approach towards the functions of the affix in the Bulgarian language, initiating contrastive research of the subject in Bulgarian and other Slavic languages.

Artykuł analizuje funkcje formantu си w ramach formalnie zwrotnych czasowników w języku bułgarskim. Takim sposobem on określa różnice w użyciu formantu jako zaimek i jako partykułę. Autor wskazuje na systematyczność w różnorodnym użytkowaniu formantu си w języku bułgarskim, wskazując na konieczność dalszych badań kontrastywnych nad spostrzeżonymi zjawiskami w bułgarskim i innych słowiańskich językach.

The paper offers a short summary of the term deagentivity, followed by comparisons between the prototype means for its expression in original texts and their translations into the Polish and Bulgarian languages. Along with the similarities, the author points out the most substantial differences in the semantics and frequency of the means for deagentivity in the two languages.

Uwagi na temat dezagentywności w tekstach polskich i bułgarskichCelem artykułu jest zwięzłe przedstawienie kategorii dezagentywności oraz porównanie prototypowych środków w celu zaprezentowania jej w oryginalnych tekstach i przekładach w języku polskim i bułgarskim. W wyniku dokonanej analizy lingwistycznej okazało się, że dezagentywne środki w obu językach, mimo iż są formalnie podobne, wykazują pewne istotne różnice w dziedzinie semantyki i frekwentywności.

The paper examines the phenomenon of reflexive personal pronouns for the dative case, used with verbs in several Slavic languages. The author offers a systematised approach towards the functions of the element си / sobie in the Bulgarian and Polish languages, revealing its roles both as a pronoun and as a particle with different meaning. Comparisons between Bulgarian and Polish variations of this phenomenon suggest further research in these, as well as in other Slavic languages.

W artykule omówiono, występujące w językach słowiańskich, interesujące zjawisko – używania obok czasownika zwrotnego zaimka osobowego w funkcji celownika. Specyfika takiego użycia formacji „си“ / „sobie” związana jest zarówno z ich rolą jako zaimków, jak i z pełnieniem przez nie funkcji różnego rodzaju partykuł. Autor tekstu wskazuje na konieczność dalszych badań o charakterze porównawczym w zakresie tej tematyki w języku bułgarskim, polskim oraz innych językach słowiańskich, które mogą przyczynić się do wyciągnięcia dodatkowych, dalej idących, wniosków.
