The impact of organizational behavior on the effectiveness of quality management is an important research area undertaken by many researchers over recent years. Research shows that employee behaviors such as commitment, communication, motivation and teamwork influence the quality of products or services offered by the company, and thus customer satisfaction. In the light of conducted research, adopting appropriate behaviors and organizational culture may contribute to increasing the effectiveness of quality management and improving the organization's results. This is why understanding these issues is crucial for organizations trying to improve their quality management process. Employee behavior can influence the effectiveness of quality management in several ways. Engaged employees are more likely to be involved in improving processes and products, which translates into higher quality. Effective communication facilitates the resolution of quality problems and the rapid transfer of information. In turn, motivated employees often take up quality improvement initiatives and try to achieve set goals. Taking into account the above considerations and the growing importance of organizational culture in management, especially in the area of quality management, the question arises: whether it is possible to influence the effectiveness of quality management through organizational behavior? This question inspired the author to achieve the goal of solving the research problem regarding the inclusion of cultural aspects in quality management. To achieve the assumed goal, a literature review was carried out in the area of conditions and types of organizational behavior and quality management to present the relationship between behaviors and the effectiveness of the quality management system. The obtained results allowed for the identification of key behaviors that to the greatest extent shape the functioning of quality management systems. Among them, commitment and motivation play a key role, which, with the support of strong pro-quality leadership, is most reflected in the frequency of pro-quality initiatives, which leads to an increase in quality, customer satisfaction and achieving better competitiveness on the market.

A sole proprietorship is the most common form of running a business. The number of enterprises operated in Poland has been growing dynamically for over 30 years. At the same time, the population of Poland is the fastest ageing society in the EU. In the light of the above, many enterprises may soon face the problem of maintaining business continuity in the event of death of their owners. The article attempts to evaluate the implementation of the institution of succession management of a natural person’s enterprise into the Polish legal framework one year after new solutions were offered to Polish entrepreneurs. To this ennd, the way how entrepreneurs make use of this institution has been analysed.

Recent years in Poland have been marked by a heated discussion on the system of education in place. A significant contribution to the discussion was the 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science Act, redefining the current operating model of higher education institutions. Tertiary education and the way it is organised are set in a global environment with an indefinite number of stakeholders. The turbulent nature and changeability of this environment has surfaced even more strongly in the light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. All this requires looking at the design of curricula and the delivery of the process of education from a broader angle, identifying the internal and the external stakeholders and determining their expectations as well as the capabilities to affect higher education institutions and the very process of education. The article points to the area of research made in the said domain, offering a description of the current state of affairs.

W ostatnich latach w Polsce szeroko dyskutowana jest problematyka dotycząca systemu kształcenia. Przyczyniła się do tego między innymi uchwalona w 2018 r. ustawa – Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce redefiniująca zasady działania uczelni. Studia wyższe i ich organizacja osadzone są w globalnym otoczeniu, posiadającym właściwie nieskończenie wielu interesariuszy. Burzliwość i zmienność tego środowiska została jeszcze dobitniej ukazana przez pryzmat panującej pandemii COVID-19. To wszystko powoduje, że na kwestie określania programów studiów i realizacji procesu kształcenia należy spojrzeć szerzej, rozpoznając wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych interesariuszy oraz określając ich oczekiwania, a także możliwości wpływania na uczelnie i sam proces kształcenia. W artykule wskazano obszar badań w tym zakresie, nakreślając istniejący obecnie stan rzeczy.

Jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza jest najpopularniejszą formą prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej. Od ponad 30 lat obserwowany jest dynamiczny rozwój liczby przedsiębiorstw w Polsce. Jednocześnie Polacy są najszybciej starzejącym się społeczeństwem UE. W związku z powyższym w najbliższym czasie w wielu przedsiębiorstwach może wystąpić problem z zapewnieniem ciągłości funkcjonowania podmiotów gospodarczych w przypadku śmierci przedsiębiorców. W artykule podjęto próbę oceny implementacji instytucji zarządu sukcesyjnego przedsiębiorstwem osoby fizycznej do polskiego prawa w pierwszą rocznicę wprowadzenia nowych rozwiązań dla przedsiębiorców. W tym celu dokonano analizy jej wykorzystania przez przedsiębiorców.
