This paper gives information about Polish Jesuits in the Pontificium Collegium Russicum obtained by the Ministry of Public Security of Poland after 1945. At the outset, the origins of the Collegium Russicum are presented. To understand the reasons of the Ministry of Public Security officers’ interest in the collegium, the situation of the Catholic Church in Poland after the Second World War is also recalled.

The article begins with the author’s outline of the political situation of a renewed Polish State. Next, he discusses the history of the Jesuit Eastern Mission in Albertyn (1924-1942). In the second part of the article, the author presents the records of the functionaries of the Committee for Public Security to show what kind of information about the Jesuits was of interest to the state apparatus. The author tries to confirm to what extent the data collected by the state functionaries agreed with the real status quo and the present-day knowledge of this problem area. The author quotes from the documents, which is intended to render the atmosphere of the time. The documents analysed in the article only concern the time-span between 1950 and 1956. In his concluding remarks, the author makes a short list of the operational methods used by the Security functionaries and of all the efforts they made to get the information they desired. The final part of the article focuses on the history of the Neo-Uniate Church in Poland after 1945.

We wstępie autor naświetla sytuację polityczną odrodzonej Rzeczpospolitej. Następnie omawia dzieje Misji Wschodniej jezuitów w Albertynie (1924-1942). W drugiej części artykułu autor wymienia, na podstawie dokumentów zebranych przez funkcjonariuszy Komitetu ds. Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, jakie informacje dotyczące zakonników uczestniczących w misji ich interesowały. Stara się sprawdzić na ile wiadomości uzyskane przez funkcjonariuszy zgadzają się z wiedzą, którą dziś można uzyskać zajmując się tą tematyką. Posługuje się cytatami, które starają się oddać ducha czasu. Cezurą dla dokumentacji w omawianej części są lata 1950-1956. W konkluzji autor streszcza formy pracy operacyjnej funkcjonariuszy Komitetu ds. Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego oraz podjęty przez nich trud w zdobywaniu interesujących ich wiadomości. Na zakończenie informuje, jakie były dalsze losy neounii w Polsce po 1945 roku.

The article presents various operational cases that the security apparatus brought against the Jesuits from particular outposts of the Greater Poland-Masovia Province of the Jesus Society during the People's Poland. Knowledge in this area was obtained on the basis of many years of research and analysis of documents left by the Security Service in the archives of the Institute of National Remembrance. The article lists areas of interest of the security apparatus of the Jesuit order, as well as individual monks. The analysis of the documentation showed that the Ministry of Security wanted to know the whole life of the religious. The majority of the security apparatus was interested in current pastoral work and contacts with various social groups on many levels.

W artykule przedstawiono różnorodne sprawy operacyjne jakie aparat bezpieczeństwa w okresie Polski Ludowej wytoczył przeciwko jezuitom z poszczególnych placówek Prownicji Wielkopolsko-Mazowieckiej Towarzystwa Jezusowego. Wiedzę w tym zakresie uzyskano na podstawie wieloletnich badań i analizy dokumentów pozostawionych przez Służbę Bezpieczeństwa w archiwach Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej. W artykule wymieniono obszary zainteresowania aparatu bezpieczeństwa zakonem jezuitów, jak również poszczególnymi zakonnikami. Z analizy dokumentacji wynikało, że resort bezpieczeństwa chciał poznać całokształt życia zakonnika. W przeważającej aparat bezpieczeństwa mierze interesowała bieżąca praca duszpasterska i kontakty z różnymi grupami społecznymi na wielu płaszczyznach.

The article presents extracts from the denunciations of security apparatus informers from the People's Republic of Poland regarding selected Jesuits from the Greater Poland-Masovia Province of the Society of Jesus. The article lists the areas of interest of the ministry of security to individual monks. The analysis of the documentation showed that the security apparatus carried out an insightful description of the monk. The security department created a comprehensive and synthetic image of a given Jesuit. He learned about his character traits, the opinions of his confreres about him, functions in the order, strengths and weaknesses, or his attitude towards state authorities. Knowledge in this area was obtained on the basis of many years of research and analysis of documents left by the Security Service in the archives of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN).

W artykule przedstawiono wyciągi z donosów informatorów aparatu bezpieczeństwa z okresu Polski Ludowej dotyczące wybranych jezuitów z Prowincji Wielkopolsko-Mazowieckiej Towarzystwa Jezusowego. W artykule wymieniono obszary zainteresowania resortu bezpieczeństwa poszczególnymi zakonnikami. Z analizy dokumentacji wynikało, że aparat bezpieczeństwa przeprowadzał wnikliwą charakterystykę zakonnika. Resort bezpieczeństwa tworzył kompleksowy i syntetyczny obraz danego jezuity. Poznawał jego cechy charakteru, opinie współbraci o nim, funkcje w zakonie, słabe i mocne strony czy też stosunek do władz państwowych. Wiedzę w tym zakresie uzyskano na podstawie wieloletnich badań i analizy dokumentów pozostawionych przez Służbę Bezpieczeństwa w archiwach Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej (IPN).
