Already ten years have passed from that date on which the Minister of Culture and Arts has called into being the Historical Monuments Documentation Centre. On the opportunity of this jubilee we would present to our Readers the lines of the Centre’s activities so closely linked with-the conservation practice and theory. We hope that the most many-sided presentation of these problems will enable all interested to exploit still more efficiently as it was possible until now, the collected resources at the same time permitting to extend the co-operation of conservators’ and museum milieux in tasks and investigations carried by the Centre.
