Model ekonomii współdzielenia z powodzeniem rozwija się w sektorze turystyki w Polsce. Najpopularniejszym portalem internetowym umożliwiającym oferowanie i rezerwowanie miejsc noclegowych w modelu wielu-do-wielu (ang. peer-to-peer) jest platforma Airbnb. Celem opracowania była identyfikacja czynników o charakterze społecznym, ekonomicznym i prawnym, które mogą wpływać na ekspansję Airbnb w Polsce. Na podstawie wyników ankiety przeprowadzonej z 50 użytkownikami Airbnb wskazano najważniejsze motywy używania tego portalu oraz zmiany, jakie nastąpiły w sposobie podróżowania na skutek korzystania z Airbnb. Wśród motywów wskazywanych przez respondentów najważniejsza była cena, a w dalszej kolejności swoboda i prywatność, dostęp do kuchni, przestronność oraz lokalizacja miejsca noclegowego. Natomiast najważniejsze zmiany w sposobie podróżowania dotyczyły zwiększenia liczby destynacji wyjazdowych, częstotliwości wyjazdów, a także zwiększenia wydatków na usługi w miejscu pobytu.

The sharing economy model is successfully developing in the tourism sector in Poland. The most popular internet portal that allows you to offer and book accommodation in a peer to peer model is the Airbnb platform. The purpose of the study was to identify social, economic and legal factors that may affect Airbnb’s expansion in Poland. Based on the results of a survey conducted with 50 Airbnb users, the most important motives for use and changes in the way of traveling as a result of using Airbnb were identified. Among the motives indicated by the respondents, the most important was the price, followed by privacy, access to the kitchen, spaciousness and location of the accommodation. At the same time, the most important changes in the way of traveling concerned an increase in the number of travel destinations, an increase in the frequency of trips, as well as an increase in expenditure on services at the place of stay
