Zadaniem niniejszego opracowania jest omówienie nowych i mniej znanych źródeł finansowania projektów koncentrujących się na nowych technologiach. Stanowi zbiór istotnych informacji dotyczących źródeł finansowania przedsięwzięć innowacyjnych realizowanych obecnie na polskim rynku finansowym i kapitałowym. Jest to artykuł o charakterze badawczym, pełni rolę przeglądu dostępnej wiedzy w powyższym zakresie. Autor odnosi się do danych historycznych zestawionych z wynikami najnowszych badań. Wykorzystano metodę porównawczą. W opracowaniu omówiono nowe formy finansowania: finansowanie społecznościowe, crowdfunding, aniołowie biznesu i mniej znane capital venture czy private equity. Wyniki badań umożliwiają udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytania o potrzebę istnienia specyficznego finansowania dla start-upów, pytania o branże będące przedmiotem zainteresowania funduszy typu venture capitalw Polsce w przeszłości i obecnie. Podjęto też temat najbardziej innowacyjnej i alternatywnej formy pozyskiwania środków na polskim rynku: finansowania społecznościowego.

This study is to discuss new and less known sources of financing the projects focusing on new technologies. It is a set of important information on the sources of financing innovative projects carried out at present in the Polish financial and capital market. This is an article of the research nature but also t plays the role of review of the available knowledge in this area, where the author refers to the historical data compared with the present research outcomes. He used the comparative method. In his study, the author not only discussed individual new forms of financing such as crowdfunding, angel investors and less known sources of financing such as capital venture or private equity. The research findings allow answering the questions: Why is there needed specific financing for startups? What branches were the objects of interest for funds of the venture capital type in Poland, and what are they today? The author also undertook the topic of the most innovative and alternative form of funding in the Polish market, crowdfunding.
