Znaczenie produktów regionalych w rozwoju regionów i lokalnych społeczności na przykładzie Włoch

W artykule podjęto próbę przedstawienia wpływu produktów tradycyjnych i regionalnych na rozwój lokalny, a co za tym idzie na promocję regionu. Ukazane zostało znaczenie działalności głównych włoskich organizacji rolniczych odpowiedzialnych miedzy innymi za ich promocję, jak również organizacji ściśle nastawionych na promocję żywności. Przedstawiono także zaangażowanie rządu w koordynację prowadzonych działań. W dalszej części ukazano znaczenie współpracy jednostek zaangażowanych w rozwój lokalny na terenie Włoch oraz sposób, w jaki realizują one swoje wspólne zadania. W podsumowaniu ujęto obecną sytuację Polski, a także zasugerowano potencjalne rozwiązania względem promocji produktów tradycyjnych na rzecz rozwoju lokalnego i regionalnego.

The article attempts to present the influence of traditional and regional products in local development and the effect they have on the promotion of a region. It shows the meaning of the activities of the main Italian agricultural organizations responsible among others for the promotion of these kinds of products, as well as the organizations that are mainly focused on general promotion of food. It also exhibits involvement of the government in coordinating these activities. Furthermore, it presents the meaning of cooperation of the units involved in local development in Italy and the manner in which they coordinate their tasks. The present situation in Poland has been summarized in the paper, followed by suggestions and implications for potential solutions in the promotion of traditional products.
