świetle raportów Global Employment Trends 2013. Recovering from Second Jobs Dip oraz The World at Work: Jobs, Pay ans Skills for 3.5 Billion People wydaje się, że szerszy dostęp do Internetu, mnogość platform i serwisów internetowych nakierowanych na poszukiwania pracy oraz poziom umiejętności związanych z użytkowaniem Internetu wciąż nie pozwalają młodym z łatwością znajdywać zatrudnienia. Media społecznościowe mogą stać się narzędziem wspierającym dążenia do zmniejszenia nierówności społecznych i zwiększenia szans np. osób bezrobotnych. Umożliwiają bowiem budowanie zawodowej tożsamości. Otwierają nowe możliwości rozwijania kariery zawodowej. Dzięki nim pracodawcy i pracobiorcy mogą się prezentować, tworzyć sieci kontaktów, zdobywać inspiracje do nowych projektów, rozszerzać wiedzę, poprawiać wyniki rekrutacji itp. Artykuł przedstawia i omawia najważniejsze profesjonalne i eksperckie media społecznościowe. Podstawę prowadzonych rozważań stanowią: krytyczny przegląd literatury, analiza wybranych mediów społecznościowych (GoldenLine i LinkedIn) oraz badanie ankietowe.

In the light of the reports: Global Employment Trends 2013 Recovering from Second Jobs Dip and The World at Work: Jobs, Pay and Skills for 3.5 Billion People, it seems that even wider access to the Internet, a multitude of platforms and recruitment websites, as well as level of Internet skills do still not allow young people to find easily an employment. Social media can become a tool for supporting efforts to reduce social inequalities and increase the chances of, for example, unemployed people. They make it possible to build a professional identity. Social media, especially professional and specialized ones, open up new job opportunities. Thanks to them the employers and the employees may present themselves in the global web. They can create a network of contacts, gain inspiration for new projects, expand knowledge, improve recruitment results etc.

The reform of Social Retirement System is necessary. Without it, Polish insurance system would be more and more burdened. However, the demographics changes have led to serious consequences for the whole economy, because only a generational change ensures the inflow of new paradigms and new ways of thinking. Meanwhile, young Polish couples are postponing the decision of having a child, explaining that they are unable to fit their needs. An increasing number of employers propose them unpaid trainees or worthless contracts. They are considered noncompetitive and inexperienced so they express rather pessimistic opinions about the chances of finding and keeping a job. Poland needs coordinated action - of both: labor market policy and employment policy - to support fertility and protect the interests of women. The chances of access to the labor market for women should be equal to men. It means not only to be written into law, but translated into the sphere of economic activity and education.
