The labour market in Poland is changing unceasingly. Changes concern: the attitude towards employment, concluding agreements, discharging and the role of state in the labour market policy field. The aim of this article is the presentation and the attempt of ethical evaluation of the state and enterprises action on the labour market, particularly in the flexicurity and WLB context. This article includes: presentation of the general situation on the Polish labour market, the ethical attitude to this market, presentation of state and enterprises actions in the flexicurity and WLB field.

In the contemporary world the economic activity often diverges from the principles of ethics. Being honest in this area is still only associated with compliance with legal rules. To act ethically, the enterprise wants to see the measurable financial profit in it. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the role of ethics in business relationships and identify consequences of its absence on the examples of pathological behavior in the economic sphere. The essential issue stressed by the Author is to show factors enhancing the occurrence of these behaviors. This will allow to express propositions for appropriate action to reduce economic pathology.(

Professional work is a very important in a handicapped person's life. It provides a labour income, personal fulfillment and a job satisfaction, but it is also the only chance to stay in contact with other people. Work plays the essential socialization function (in addition to the income and the rehabilitation function). For the economy professional activity of handicapped people means a better use of human capital and improvement of the rationality of limited public funds. The aim of this article is the presentation of employment changes of people with handicaps and the analysis of their effect on the activity level of this group. The author takes into account the situation on the open and protected labour market as well as indicates the activation methods used for handicappers.

Efektywne wykorzystanie zasobów ludzkich stanowi jeden z głównych czynników wzrostu gospodarczego. Aby zapewnić i utrzymać trwały wzrost gospodar¬czy, konieczne jest podjęcie działań w kierunku większej aktywizacji zasobów pracy, jak i uelastycznienia rynku pracy (poprzez deregulację), przy zachowaniu bezpieczeństwa socjalnego (w drodze regulacji). Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranych działań państwa w zakresie regu¬lacji i deregulacji rynku pracy w Polsce oraz ich roli w kontekście wzrostu gospodarczego. Autorka zwraca szczególną uwagę na proces uelastycznienia rynku pracy oraz aktywizacji osób starszych.

Effective management of human resources is one of the main factors of the economic growth. To ensure sustainable economic growth, it is necessary to take action towards the greater activation of labour resources, greater labour market flexibility, with the protection of the social security. The aim of this article is to present selected activities of the State in the field of re¬gulation and deregulation of the labour market in Poland in the context of economic growth. The author accents the problem of labour market flexibility and the activation of elderly people.
