The article describes the cooperation of the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia as well as the Department of International Studies of Polish with Polish Relations in Argentina, in accordance with the October 15th, 2015 agreement in Buenos Aires. Its goal is to raise the quality of teaching Polish in Argentina, through promoting language, Polish traditions and Polish national culture, in aiding the level of qualifications of professional teachers through organized workshops in methodology, participation of academic instructors in leading Polish language classes, and helping with attaining required lecture halls on the grounds of the Association's library.

The article is dedicated to some greeting formulae and some address forms in contempo-rary Chinese (more precisely Mandarin) language. It discusses general rules of grammatical and lexical system as well as pragmatics and language politeness both in official and unoffi-cial speech. The text is partly of a comparative character (it presents how different expres-sions function within Polish and Chinese communication). It also underlines the glottodi-dactic aspect, which, in this case, refers to teaching not only a foreign language but also a foreign culture.
