The authoress of the article considers the relations between the directing style of the owner of a small and medium sized enterprise and the employees' entrepreneurship. The analysis is based on the 'Alfa' enterprise. The employees' entrepreneurship is defined as a special kind of activity connected with searching the market for opportunities, and finding a better way to realize the company strategy. In the 'Alfa' enterprise there are some signs of the employees' entrepreneurship associated with the owner's style of directing, however, these should be better developed.

Successful implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) needs firstly socially responsible action towards employees and than towards other stakeholders. Elaborating human resources strategy and human resource management tools (related to the allocation of staff, training, movements, motivating and evaluating) compatible with general strategy aimed at CSR and applying fair play rules were recognized as main activities in shaping the CSR in relation to employees. The article proposes a model of employees' participation in the concept of CSR.

It was indicated in the article, that entrepreneurial features characterize the owner, people on managerial positions, as well as regular workers employed in the 'Alfa' enterprise. Employees' entrepreneurial attributes in most cases coincide with the attributes of the owner, which contributes to building the enterprise's market value. The obtained conclusions inspire the authoress to designate directions of future research and are a basis for an invitation to a discussion for all the people interested in the issue.
