Aktywność innowacyjna polskich małych przedsiębiorstw kształtuje się na poziomie niższym niż w przedsiębiorstwach średnich i dużych z powodu m.in. niskich nakładów na prace B+R. Dofinansowanie tych prac ze środków publicznych stanowi często bodziec do rozpoczęcia tego typu działalności i pozwala na wykorzystanie potencjału innowacyjnego przedsiębiorstwa. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja innowacji produktowej na skalę światową opracowanej przez małe przedsiębiorstwo informatyczne z dofinansowaniem z Programu Operacyjnego Innowacyjna Gospodarka. Systemy informatyczne jako innowacje produktowe odgrywają dużą rolę w procesie dyfuzji innowacji, indukując innowacje procesowe i organizacyjne w przedsiębiorstwach, które je użytkują.

Innovative activity of Polish small enterprises is at a lower level than in the large and medium-sized ones because of the low R&D expenses (among others). Subsidy of these works from public funds is often the incentive to start this type of activity and allows to use the innovative potential of the company. The aim of the article is to present the innovation product on a global scale developed by a small IT company with subsidy from the Operational Programme Innovative Economy. IT systems as the product innovations play an important role in the diffusion of innovation inducing process and organizational innovation in the companies that utilize them.

The main purpose of this paper consisted in the identification of the main trends in the personnel area of organization resulting from global social and economic changes. These changes can be analyzed both in the opportunities context and in the threats context for the organization. The paper contains the theoretical review of these trends and its influence on the way of realization the personnel function in the organization.
