This article presents a reflection on the practical benefits of engaging little helpers as teachers in preschool groups. The area of my interest is the process of learning in situations where one child (higher skills) teaches another child, for example younger one. The issue refers to currently popular and recommended in the education of older students and youth the contemporary tutoring. Research shows that children in preschool age very effectively teach other children what they can do themselves. This idea is a very concrete way to solve difficult problems in group teaching, associated with individual diff erences in children’s development. Despite this, in preschool education this educational opportunities are used very rare.
