Basing on the analysis of documents and deeds the author of this work depicts efforts of the Ministry of Education to meet the demand for elementary and general high school music teachers in the years 1950-1960. This challenge was taken up by the public advanced music schooling in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Art. In 1957 they organized a B section for working teachers, at IV Teachers' Training Faculties of advanced music schools and Academies. The beginnings of music teachers' training in the system of extra mural studies has been presented in terms of the goals which were set and achieved and conflicts resulting from inconsistence of syllabuses as well as from preferential approach to music teachers who both worked and studied. All of the presentation has been supported by experiences gained by the advanced music schooling in the years after 1945.

Niniejszy szkic to próba zdefiniowania terminu humanizacja szkoły i osadzenia go w aksjologicznym aspekcie językowym – języka wartości i etyki słowa. To otwarta kontynuacja myśli aksjologiczno-pedagogicznej zawartej w licznych tekstach, których tematyka dotyczy m.in. relacji interpersonalnych w edukacji. Celem artykułu jest postulat o humanizację szkoły w szerszym – nie tylko językowym - kontekście, wynikający z personalistycznego podejścia do edukacji – afirmację uczniów, nauczycieli i ich podmiotowości.

The article about „The need for school humanization in terms of language of values” is part of a discourse by Professor Maria Dudzikowa on „Signs of dehumanization in schools. In the perspective of zoonotic imagery”. This sketch is an attempt to define the school humanization term and to embed it in the axiological aspect of the language of values and ethics of the word. This is an open continuation of the axiological and pedagogical idea concluded in many texts on interpersonal relationships in education. The aim of the article is to stipulate about the humanization of school in a broader, not just language, context, resulting from a personalistic approach to education – affrmation of students, teachers and their subjectivity.
